It was at this weeks Rabin appointment that I finally asked, is there anything other than tums that I can take for the heartburn and indigestion. I am miserable. To which he responded... oh yeah, take prilosec. And so of course I asked if there was any risk to the baby, which he said no. So I gave it a try, and within 24 hours I had a serious amount of relief. It wasn't completely gone, but there was a noticeable difference. It went from miserable to inconvenient and uncomfortable - but livable. I am hoping this will make the next few weeks much more tolerable and pleasant, and it certainly beats tums.Monday, November 09, 2009
the big guns
